Finnmark County Council organised on May 14 a workshop to select the most promising routes for hydrogen utilisation in Varanger and Finnmark.
The workshop saw strong participation and enthusiasm from multiple sectors of Norway’s northernmost region, with proposals ranging from logistics, to maritime and automotive, and to utilisation of by-products such as oxygen and heat.
The workshop was supported by the Norwegian Research Council, and an expressed aim is to produce proposals for this autumn’s Pilot-E call.
